• Reforestation area, strengthening the vegetation cover, and maintaining local species;  
• Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to deal responsibly with the water produced in our operations;  
• The innovative practice of irrigating the native forest with water from the WTP, cooling the environment, enriching the local flora, and reinforcing the environmental commitment;  
• Awareness programs for the consumption of disposable items, energy, and water in the facilities;  
• Conscious waste management through the selective collection system, strengthening the partnership with the waste pickers’ association, and promoting social inclusion and economic sustainability. 

Social

In the “Social” sphere, we build strong connections with communities and establish transformative actions:

• Partnerships with universities in projects that promote social and environmental improvements;  
• Strong partnership with the waste pickers’ association, aligned with our selective collection approach;  
• Social actions with communities in the vicinity of the facilities;  
• Emphasis on hiring local employees, valuing inclusion, and regional development. 

Governance

In the “Governance” area, we highlight:

• Financial statements are audited annually: transparency;  
• Monthly board meeting to analyze performance and “KPIs”: healthy investments and focus on “stakeholders”.

Mandacaru Energia Code of Conduct

The Code materializes the company’s ethical commitments and regulates ethical issues associated with the decisions and actions taken within the scope of the company’s activity. Accountability is the individual commitment of employees to the company’s mission, values, and business principles, applying them in all situations in a professional context.
